We the citizens of the African-American Community have formed a new festival for our community, the Broadway Days Festival. It is a multi-cultural festival that is being held in an historical location in the City of Harrodsburg known as West Broadway Street (which was formerly Water Street), the oldest street in Kentucky (1774-1775). The festival is to stimulate economic growth in the community of Harrodsburg and surrounding Mercer County townships. The mission of the organization is to improve the quality of life by unifying the community through concentrated efforts in organization, promotion, education, recreation and neighborhoods.
